APPLE IPHONE 7 RUMORS.
Apple’s next iPhone the Apple iPhone 7 is expected to launch sometimes later this year and as usual there are a lot of rumors and speculations as to what the phone will look like and what its features will be.
Rumors are that the iPhone 7 will have a design similar to that of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s with the exclusion of the visible antenna bands of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s.
Rumors suggest that the phone will be waterproof. This is expected to be achieved through use of self healing elastomers to cover the device’s ports. USB connectors will penetrate the elastomer which would then seal back up again after removal of the USB connectors.
The new iPhone is expected to have speaker grills placed at the phone’s top.The new smart phone is also expected to have wireless bluetooth earphones instead of the usual jack-pin earphones.The device is also expected to support wireless charging. Its battery is expected to have a capacity of 7.04 watt-hours. This battery capacity is slightly higher than its predecesors.
The Apple iPhone 7 is expected to be the thinnest of iPhones as it is expected to be 6 to 6.5mm thick. This will make it one millimeter thinner than its predecessors.
Another interesting new feature expected on the iPhone 7 is the complete removal of the physical home button which is to be replaced by an ultrasound Touch ID fingerprint sensor integrated into the touchscreen. The iPhone is thus expected to have a screen that runs from edge to edge, occupying the current position of the home button.
The new iPhone is expected to have in-built thermometers to monitor the iPhone’s heat and ensure proper control of its power usage since some users of its predecessors have complained of overheating of the home button.
The iPhone is expected to have a 3D display involving use of ‘naked eye 3D screen’ technology which involves use of 3D screens that do not need the user or viewer to have glasses so as to view the screen’s images.
The new iPhone is expected to be powered by an A10 chip unlike the A9 processors of its predecessors (iPhone SE, iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone 6S). This processor is expected to be a hexa-core processor (six-core processor) unlike its dual-core predecessors.
The iPhone 7 is also expected to support 256 GB of storage unlike its predecessors which support 128 GB of storage. It is also expected to have 3 GB of memory, a significant rise from the 2 GB memory of its predecessors. Its internal Intel 7360 modem is expected to support data transfer speeds of up to 450Mbps while downloading and 100Mbps while uploading. The modem is also expected to use LiFi technology instead of WiFi technology.
The new iPhone is expected to have better imaging capabilities with a new and enhanced camera system made up of two camera lenses. This dual lens DSLR style camera is expected to offer higher quality images, better optical zoom and better image-capturing in darker environments due to the two different focal lengths of the two lenses. This dual camera system is expected to be mostly a feature of the iPhone 7 Plus.
The iPhone is also expected to be made with a pre-installed SIM. Users of the phone can thus sign up for different mobile data plans from any carrier using the Settings app on the phone and switch network providers at any time.
The Apple iPhone 7 is expected to come with the new iOS 10 and thus have new software features. This include but are not limited to improved parental controls and group Face Time calls.
The new iPhone is expected to have better security features. The smart phone is expected to be very difficult to hack as Apple keeps on enhancing the security of its iPhones and iCloud service.
